S. Vivek Rejoins Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as Partner
S. Vivek has returned to Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) as a Partner in the Capital Markets practice, based in Bengaluru. A 2010 graduate of the National Law School of India University, Vivek brings over 15 years of experience in capital markets law, spanning law firm and in-house roles.
He previously served at CAM from 2016 to 2019 before moving to his alma mater as Project Lead for the Regulatory Governance Project, followed by a four-year stint at M2P Fintech as Head of Legal and Compliance. His return strengthens CAM’s capital markets and fintech advisory capabilities in the South India region.
For law firms, this reflects a growing trend of lateral hiring of lawyers with in-house fintech and regulatory experience. For practitioners, it signals the increasing convergence of capital markets, fintech regulation, and securities law, particularly in SEBI’s evolving oversight of digital assets and tech-driven financial services.
