NLU Meghalaya Appoints New Vice-Chancellor
Prof Jyoti Mozika, the Head of the Department of Law at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), has been appointed the Vice-Chancellor of the National Law University, Meghalaya (NLU Meg). Prof Mozika's appointment comes following the retirement of the founding Vice-Chancellor, Prof Indrajit Dube, in February of this year.
Since Prof Dube's retirement, the role of Vice-Chancellor has been held on an interim basis by the founding Registrar, Kerpa Meida Lyngdoh Nongbri. The university administration anticipates that Prof Mozika will officially take charge in August, marking a new chapter in the leadership of NLU Meg.
