About This Role
Join us as a Backend Developer to build robust, scalable APIs and services that power our legal technology platform.
## About the Role
You'll work on designing and implementing backend services, APIs, and database systems that handle complex legal data processing and AI integrations.
## Tech Stack
- Node.js / Python
- PostgreSQL with Prisma
- REST and GraphQL APIs
- AWS services (S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Docker and microservices
What You'll Do
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and services
- Build and maintain database schemas and queries
- Implement authentication and authorization systems
- Optimize backend performance and scalability
- Write comprehensive tests and documentation
- Collaborate with frontend and AI teams
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Node.js or Python
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Understanding of RESTful API design
- Knowledge of authentication and security practices
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP)
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Experience with message queues (Redis, Kafka)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
